We offer the opportunity for all our dancers to experience competition with two levels:  Pre Comp and Full Company.  Our Competition Teams are designed for those dancers who have a passion for developing technique, are dedicated to mastery of skills in all styles along with having a passion for performing beyond community events and recitals.

PRE-COMPETITION TEAMS:  Available to students 4 and up with limited dance experience to begin competition. Students must register for placement summer camp to be eligible and have at least 1 year of prior dance experience.

​

JEWEL TEAM (ages 4-5) attend techniques classes Mondays and Thursdays and compete in tap and jazz.

​

Pre-Comp:  (ages 6 and up) attend classes on Mondays and Tuesdays and compete Production, Jazz and Tap and lyrical. 

​

Jewels Pre-Comp teams have additional technique and choreography classes 1 weekend per month for the competition season!

FULL COMPANY COMPETITION TEAMS:  Ages 5 and up

​

Company students are required to take mandatory technique classes on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays in addition to learning competitive routines and to attend extra practice at least one weekend per month over the course of the season.  The teams compete in three regional competitions from March until May, perform in a Showcase, Reveal and Recital, and attend a National Competition in July.  Class times on each of the evenings are between 5:00-8:30.

All students compete production, large tap, large jazz, large lyrical with Hip Hop line as optional.  Students are eligible for small groups, trios, and specialty numbers by invitation and audition.  All students are eligible to compete a solo.

​

Tuition covers all technique and choreography for all dances for the season!  All extra fees:  entry fees, costume fees, props, gear, etc. are added together and divided into 11 equal monthly payments.

ALL STUDENTS MUST REGISTER AND ATTEND PLACEMENT CAMP IN JULY TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR COMPETITION!

 As a studio, we work very hard to make Competition Dance affordable for all families.  Also,  we are committed to perfecting technique and growing each individual dancer each week, each month, and each season rather than just concentrating on perfecting particular routines each week.  Additionally, we offer many other opportunities for dancers to build relationships with each other outside of the regular classes to build a team spirit, a studio family, and positive relationships that results in award winning dances and relationships that last a lifetime.  We would love to have you be a part of Company!

Summer Camp Intensives available for competition level dancers only:

July 7-10:  6:00-8:00 pm Ballet/Lyrical Intensive

July 28-31: 6:00-8:00 pm Hip Hop/Musical Theater Intensive

July 14-18:  3:00-5:00 pm  Jazz/Tap Intensive

All intensives include work on flexibility and conditioning while improving on transitions and combinations in the chosen styles for the week.  It is a wonderful opportunity to improve and master technique within the disciplines.
